Since you didn't get this cylinder, you went ahead and bought a roid engine?  That was you, right?

Paypal ruled in my favor. After sending back the parts, I was refunded my money. I lost out on some shipping $ and time but  I am pleased with Paypal.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal Rider414, you have to be careful of doing business with people who just show up on the site and start hawking their crap.  They can see that we're a captive audience with a narrow interest that they can focus their efforts to rip people off, get in and get out.

I think similar stuff has happened before, if I remember right there was a guy on the east coast (Virginia I think) who showed up sold a bunch of parts and either nobody got their stuff or it was all F'd up.  Everybody was reluctant to say anything but finally over the course of a couple months it all ended up coming out and the guy scammed at least 5 or 6 people for some pretty decent money.

Erbe I think setting a minimum number of posts is a good policy or maybe this would work good too..........You Ain't From Around Here, Are You Boy?

I think someone's going to get a pizza party this Saturday.
How many pizzas did that cylinder head cost?
A good lesson to remember about posting your phone number online...

Guys,

After repeated lies from Zachary Penick - Pride and Performance about sending me a replacement cylinder and that never happened. I am glad I turned my PAYPAL dispute to a claim. This take awhile but Paypal had me send back my broken parts to the seller with signature confirmation for a refund. The next day after the shipment was confirmed, PAYPAL refunded my money.

I was worried I was going to get screwed if the seller made a claim they never got the return. This purchase and transaction was all done through the forum messages and email. No EBAY.

Lesson Learned: When dealing with a new unknown seller, use PAYPAL and not the gift option. It took some time but atleast I got my money back
!!!

Oh sheit.... That's good to know.

I got a used part that's bent, waiting for word back from the seller. I used PayPal & gifted ... Uh ohh...

At this point - YES

I purchased a cylinder and head. Zachary Penick shipped the jug with no protection for it. The cast liner ears broke off. He said he would ship me another cylinder. After lie after lie after lie, I finally opened up a Paypal dispute and then a claim. We are in that process right now. This has been going on since September.

Now it looks like if this is the same person as in the news story, he has a history with the law also.

PAYPAL users - you might want to think twice about sending money as a gift. I think you forfeit your buyer protection.

Does anyone personally know Zach? I am having a hard time resolving a issue with some bad parts. I am getting alot of excuses from him and no results. I hope we work this out but I am fearing the worst.
