Get the larger sized fuel line (5/8th or 1/4) and run cut a small portion of the old fuel line over the petcock. Then put the larger line over that. Works like a charm.
Yep What he said!!

If it works it works. It would be real good if you put a unvisersal shut off a few iches down the line from it the you wouldnt have to pinch it or cap it,.then if you need to jet or work just take  the line at the shutoff. That would work great with it.

that is a great question, really.  I have been seeing little plastic clips.....at the hospital lol and Ebay that you can get I different colours aswell. I was very hesitant to do this> but it is my bike and hopefully allways will be. Secondly a Carb shouldn't leak fuel unless it needs new rubber seals etc.
Thirdly I have my Diploma for Engine Mechanics however im new at all this still.  Seems to me I will be OK right? I don't plan on wearing any fire protection so if anyone has an issue however situational/theoretical. I am all ears......
The hardest part now is deciding w way to mount it that is pleasing to the eye.

I looked at everything and I Decided on this. Its  Stromberg's fuel inlet. No reserve. no fuel shutoff but sells for 28 dollars and lasts a lifetime.

Here is the Pingel:

Have to drill the two holes to a single large hole:

Then it mounts right up:

Was $92 shipped to my door back in 2010.  Not sure of prices now.

So I just installed a new fuel thinking that my filter was restricting my fuel. I found out my carb has a either 1/2 or 5/8 size opening for the fuel. Its a Kelihn don't know what size it is. I know the intake portion is a 64mm. Since the stock fuel line is a 7/16 I really had to stretch it out to fit. Where can I get a larger pet **** to run the larger fuel line?
