I recently found that I have a bent zilla frame.  Does anyone know of a shop that could straighten one on the east coast?

I should have known. When I went to pick it up. It was the only house in the neighborhood that didn't have a single blade of grass left on the lawn. haha and every other quad he had, had bent bars. I was blinded by the sweet plastics. lol

For every action there is a reaction. Think of how many reactions occur each day...

I've located a straight frame. I just need to make my way 3 hours west with some money in my pocket. I've been spending all my "extra" money/time racing and getting an inspection sticker on my truck.

I just had an '87 straightened in the front clip.  The front  was pushed over about 1.5" to the left.  It has a few broken welds in it as well.   I am going to weld a plate into the frame to add the shear back into it.

Had a guy with a frame rack do the work.  I wasn't there when they did it but another buddy of mine was there and he said they pulled it way past center in the other direction to get it!!!  He said they pulled it about 6" in the other direction past center and when they released the tension it was back to dead on center!!!!!!!

Either find a body shop with one or look for a fabricating shop than might possibly have one.  It's at least worth having someone look at it wouldn't you think before junking it??  Good luck.  And Like Cunningham said,  donations are always welcome!!!!! :)) :))

Wow, I don't think I'd even mess with that one....but maybe you could take it to a frame straightening shop and see what they could do for ya.

I finally made some room in the garage to tear down the 500 to the frame. Its got a nice bend in the front and looks worse than I though before I tore it down and flipped it upside down. I have few questions. Does the frame center line run down the back bone of the frame? Has anyone had any luck straightening out a 500 frame?

Here a few pictures of it. http://s435.beta.photobucket.com/user/gillio420/library/500%20frame (http://s435.beta.photobucket.com/user/gillio420/library/500%20frame)

Or should I just send it to the scrap yard?
