Thanks, but looking for a head and carb.
-
I'll trade ya a mint 88-90 head for it?
-
Just across the mountain... there is another one a couple counties over. I ride once a week at least, usually more weather permitting this time of year. PM sent
-
Right next door. Never see any zillas close anymore. Pm me if you ride and we will meet up.
-
Petenorth, you're in Harlan KY? I'm in Hyden....
-
Or would trade some on a 88-90 stock head and carb.
-
It's not Petenorth really, lol. Anyone interested its on EBay now, no reserve.
-
I am in no way making fun if your name is really petenorth but we are sharing a laugh either way!
-
i've tig welded a few back on before, then had them bored. didn't have a problem with them. need a cast iron tig rod.
-
It can be salvaged. All it needs is to be re-sleeved. The builder should be able to take care of that for you for a little extra coin.
-
Guess I will have a complete top end for sale looks like.
-
I have seen motors run with a broken sleeve, but it will cause premature piston wear & I doubt a builder would take it in as a useable core.
-
Tell me and save me the trouble. It was going to be a core for a ported cylinder for a builder
-
Install it and let us know how it runs.
-
Why is it not usable? Never had this problem.
-
Craigslist
-
Craigs list. And it's not usable
-
Who is CL? Wow I would be upset, was this a packing error?
-
Just got a 87mm stock cylinder I got from CL. Opened it up to find 1 of the small sleeve tabs on bottom was broken. I have called him and left a message. Doubt there was insurance. But my question is, can you still use it? I know the piston doesn't travel that far down. Thanks
