New 2 qt fuel tank...shaved 3 pounds.
-
I change the piston every season. The piston in it had 3/4 a season. It was getting bad. Jerry gonna mod me up a new 1. New 2quart fuel cell is almost finished im excited to get rid of that big dumb heavy stock tank.
-
wouldnt it be easier for you to lose the weight. lol
how many hour piston are you running.
good luck this year, keep us posted on the build.
and if you check ebay there was a really nice oem hood for cheap on there.
-
So my motor is back at hpr for a freshen up. Im planning to totally give this bike a face lift. I gotta make some changes to get the power to the ground. The plan is for new suspension set-up that I started and to get the bike down in the 265 race ready range... frame may just be in primer this season. Also thinking of going a diffrent rout on the carb and getting the lock-up working so I can tune the clutch some. Pics to come.
-
I really want a new oem hood ive seen some that where alot lighter in color than mine any1 have any idea's is it a certain year or something? My brand new hood is junk and ****. I may just paint one that I have any1 on here do any air brushing and would hook me up??
-
So its been a long winter with alot of life things getting in the way. Time to get 820 back up and ready to roll for thus upcoming season. The plan is for a few more frame mods and a freshen up on the motor. Im gonna start on the new chromoly front end asap. I really had some big plans but thats not gonna happen. Ill post up some progress pics after I get started.. (Y)

-
Im 30 miles east of indiana pa.
-
Wait Cunningham your in PA... Im south of Pittsburgh not to far from PA - OH line.
-
Well my motor won't even start lol! Hopefully with the new flywheel key and cdi the timing issue will be fixed. I wanna see your bike run man I don't think I'll make it up to PA this year too much going on in my home life.
-
Best pass i made this year i didnt have a camera operator. last couple races where sloppy i cant seem to get this motor to put the power to the ground...

-
Stator cover is made by ris customs I think
-
Been a long time coming, looks great
Congrats
-
good luck..
-
Awesome looking zilla!
-
What gearing setup are you running and I imagine these 6+ times are 500ft? What gearing have you found to work best for 300 feet?
-
Well firat race of season bike ran decent more tweeks and tuning required. The air was thick and muggy today i did manage to lay down a couple 6.6's which isnt terrible considering my best last year was 6.5 the bike was a rocket out of the hole but just felt like i was missing something on the top.
-
Looks great! +k2
Where did you get that stator cover its sick! #1>
-
Man I have the same pipe, but it doesn't make mine come close to how sleek/sharp that one is
-
(Y) bad to the bone man

Or I can take some off my hvac truck for free! Boom!
-
I can buy a 8ft piece at local hardware for like 1.89.
-
DP, its Armaflex. Pipe insulation, you can get it at home depot or Lowe's.
-
Very nice bike - I like it alot.
-
Good idea man that was some good thinking. Wonder where I can find me some of that... <1>
-
Thanks i was actually looking for a way to not scratch up my frame and had a long piece of 3/4 pvc pipe insulation so i cut it to proper lengths it works awesome you can just sit motor in frame and then get it into place. way easier then trying to hold it off the frame and get the bolts started. once i get swinger bolt and lower bolt in i pull it all off frame.
-
Good idea on putting the round styro foam stuff for installation of motor!

Look on q's you tube. he has a bike on there monster zero with nearly identical cut as mine and he was saying how origional they are and how no1 has ever cut fenders like that b4. Im kicking around the thought of selling this bike to buy a new mx ready kx450f
-
And lots of rear fender pics............................ A> A> A> :) :) :) :)
-
Chassis pics torn down would be great.
-
I love your bike Kevin, moving this to racing builds.
-
The plastics are my favorite part... actually i had no plans on cutting rear till i found a buddy with white fenders which i wanted. They where super rough around the edges so i got out a 12 pack a roll of tape a razor knife and some sand paper and here they are.
-
Thanks dale if only it was faster than ure hybrids!
-
Thats the way to Represent Kevin! Great job all the way around...that thing weighs less than my Hybrids!
-
I like the way u cut the plastic nice job #820
