Thanks guys!....had one of you call me and ask " why don't you just stuff a motor in one of the new 4-strokes and be done",  Probably right.  I guess I just like keeping it a Quadracer base machine, more nostalgic that way!

Yes narrowing the front frame would be better...that would be another $$ project.  I've put a pile in this thing already..Tyler at Metaltech just smiles when I pull up. +k2

The stem and bars make it very forgiving in a harsh situation, especially when I don't always land in perfect form,  and that front setup really soaks up the chop from the sandcars.

Anti vibe stem and flexx bars.  How do you like that setup?

Nice thinking outside the sandbox.   (Y)

How about narrowing the front a arm mounts?

Yes.... I'm ashamed to say I used some modded yamaha parts,  >:D  couldn't quite match the geometry so going to take some dial in for sure, add in the long swingarm also changes many things.  There are quite a few issues I was having with the stock setup that I hope this will eliminate.

After I ride it and really evaluate if all the major fab work was worthwhile I will give up all the details.

I finally have this old Duner of mine rebuilt AGAIN... Its getting ready to run this weekend.  New rear suspension, new topend and head on the little HPR small reed.

No time for chrome on the new swingarm before thanksgiving so its gonna look a bit rough first time out.  I have two more that got complete makeovers this summer,  be sharing those as well when they are a bit further along, one is a new Hybrid duner, the other is my original Hillshooter.

This duner will be on the DYNO next week... I like to know how much and where my motors are making power.

Anyone have a V2 pipe they want to bring by since it seems the SoCal boys won't step up??
