This is the OE part number.....Part is no longer available but you may find one on e-bay,facebook,etc......That or I,ve seen guys selling transmission parts or cheap bottom ends on ebay as well.

I broke my return spring and having a hard time finding a replacement.  Is there a conversion i can do to adapt my 87 to take a different year kicker assembly and or spring?  i noticed all other years have a hook shape on the end of the return spring and it looks like there is a bolt that protrudes from the case that the spring hooks to.  Thanks
