Thanks Rainman, only the left side is still available. I found some used ones on ebay for $200 - $400. A little more than I want to spend and that money would be better used elsewhere on the machine. I was thinking about rethreading the shaft to the next size smaller metric left hand thread, or because the top three threads are still good, I could use some washers to build up the area that is stripped and then use a nut on the remaining good threads. I know it seems hokey, but trying to save a little money. just a thought, but ill probably end up buying a used one.

Pretty sure crank halves are still available right from Suzuki but not sure if it's just one side or both.Someone on here purchased one maybe a year ago if I remember correctly...If you search it on here you may be able to find the post.

I was splitting the cases on my 88 LT500 and the nut for the crankshaft has red threadlocker on it. I heated it up and put the impact to it. It totally stripped the threads on the RH crankshaft. I need a replacement, hopefully not too expensive. Can anybody help me out?? Or have suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help. Happy Thanksgiving
