A couple of members have made LTR hybrids. None with the lt250 motor though. I think there is a thread about it.
I believe metal tech, fireball, and few others still make extended arms for the LTs.

The issue is finding the long travel a arms and suspension for the LT. Plus if you copy the front geometry of the ltr you get on of the best riding/handling front ends of any 450. I wanted to originally put the motor I have into a LTR but can't find a LTR roller anywhere.

The rear hubs swap 1:1. The ltr hubs will add about 1/2" to the stance per side. (some 87's and up) the 85 -86 will not swap. 24 spline vs 26 spline.
I heard z400 spindles swap will little tweaking.
Instead of doing a front clip swap, it's much easier just to do a long travel setup - and just as good.

Sound like a cool project and anything is possible I gess, There was just a guy on here that did all YFZ front end.
Might wana check that out. I always wanted a LT250r for mx as it was the first of its kind.

Just wondering if with fab work measurements from a LTR and time I could make this work? Would it be beneficial? I am gonna be using the LT for MX Racing and a little playing around on the trails with my mates. What do you think? Just here for the advice not set on what I wanna do yet...
