Title: Re: In need of swing arm and......
Post by: All American on February 02, 2016, 05:26:11 am
And Metal Tech is $460 for whichever swing arm I choose.  Looks like one swinger they have is of stock length and the other definitely is longer.  I wasn't able to find swingarms for my 85' 250R.  I know they make one, but I can't find it on their site.  From the looks of the metaltechs swingers, I'm already swaying towards them.  They look light weight.  And I remember seeing LSR's swinger before....they looked heavy to me but I can contact them tomorrow and ask for the weight.  The one thing I loved about my stock swing arm assembly, was that it was really light in the back end.  If I got stuck, I could just lift the back end up and give her shLt again.  Lol.

Quaddave I'm needing swinger, rear caliper mount, 2 hubs that fit tightly on axle with no play, axle, carrier.  How much for that stuff?

Check with MetalTech for your swingarm.

Thanks man, I'm going to check out metal tech.

All american,
I've got a stock 85 swinger. It's **** at the rear housing but it can be repaired and gusseted. I only have 1 rear stock hub for the 85 4 bolt.
I'd go $70 plus the ride for both.
See my post under items selling.

Thanks,

I'm going to check it out right now. Thanks man.

I need a swing arm for my 85' LT 250R.  As well as axle carrier, axle, hubs. The swing arm can be an oem or it can be aftermarket, or custom made.  I don't want any worn hubs and axle splines.  I've got that laying around. It would be nice to have a wider axle.  I'm flexible on parts cause I just want to get it put back together and ride it.  It's been a couple years since I rode it.
