want to meet halfway in what....say....Kansas City or St Louis?

if you are willing to deliver to Kansas city, then why don't you send me pics of what ur selling.  I may be interested if I can sell it to my wife.  might have to cut down some more trees to foot the bill.  that's if she will let me.

I haven't seen Anything for sale in the area. But, I really haven't been on Craigslist much since I ran out of room for toys.

The SS or the 3rd gen?  I gave up on the 3rd gen and bought a super low mile one.  Just didn't have the time to devote to building one ground up.  So I bought the best one in the country with super low miles and threw a ton of parts at it.

I'm having the same thought process about a hybrid.  I'd rather just buy one done or one that has most of it done.  I'll reach out to Gilles and see if he knows of anything.

Showcase! Was just thinking of you the other day. I remember there was a guy selling a hybrid and a 500 in upstate NY a while ago. not sure if they ever sold. They were both built for flat track but were good builds with all the right stuff. I think he was looking at a package deal with spare parts (lots). Maybe Gilles remembers. Ever get the Camaro done ?

I was kinda joking showcase....I live in Washington state, can you imagine the shipping bill!

That's why I said care to meet in Kansas City or St Louis.......wish you were closer, I'd make you a deal on the 86, the 500 motor, q pipe and shocks.

QuadDave.  So far yours sounds like the most promising deal.  What condition is the build?  Has it been started and what exactly would you be including?  I've also been told that 87-89 are the easiest year frames to convert to hybrid.
I'm willing to entertain the others mentioned above, but I'd like to vet this opportunity 1st.

I've got a 500 engine that is disassembled that I'm trying to sell.  Top end is off the tranny.  No clutch cover.  Some idiot tack welded the countersprocket nut to the shaft.  $450

I have an 89' 250 frame, a arms, and quite a few parts to it.  The engine was trashed when I bought it so I took it all apart and hung them up on the wall as a reminder to be careful when purchasing them. Lol what you need?

Hi FX,

Yeah I parted the hybrid project out, but I'm getting the itch to do one again.  I still have my 250 and a project 500 to mirror my other that was in dirt wheels.  Neither of which have been ridden since built.  I have no plans on ever riding them either, which is why I'm on the hunt for a project quad.  I've been searching craigslist like crazy with no real leads.

Let me know what you got.  Looking for a 250/500 Hybrid or hybrid project also open to looking at Zilla's.  I'm located in NY, but willing to travel for the right deal.

Thanx for any help!
