Okl does anyone know the length of the OEM lt250r throttle cable? ?

an OEM  Zilla cable will not work. It uses a recessed cap and will not have enough cable protruding from the housing.  The last motion pro cables I ordered did not work either it was just a little too short, not sure what there issue is. call Terry Cable they will make anything you want. motion pro can also if you get the rite person.

I don't think youll have a problem using the zilla cable I have used the zilla cable on my 250 with a pwk 40.5

I also read online a zilla cable is 54 inches long, does this sound about right?

I looked around I don't have an extra cable anymore, you may call motion pro and see if they can tell you a length of a stock Zilla cable.

I have a mikuni carb and I didnt try to reroute the cable through the frame but I ruined the cable now by attempting to shave it to fit.  Wonder if a new cable and not running it through the frame would work?

I,ve run the stock cable with a 38mm Keihin AS and 38mm Lectron with no issues.Also using the stock thumb throttle.

So a stock thumb throttle cable from a lt500r is longer than the stock lt250r cable?

The stock Zilla thumb throttle with a little grinding on the inside will pull a 44mm carb no problem. I'll look around I may still have a cable floating around if I do I'll send it your way.

Where Did you guys get your cable custom made? And Anyone know the length of a stock cable?

A bigger carb usually needs a custom cable and sometimes a throttle.  I installed a VM44 on my 500 and had to get a different throttle and a custom throttle to open it all the way.

For my project I used a thumb throttle from a Honda and I got a custom cable made by a bike shop. I am sure that they could make you whatever length of cable that you could want. I paid less then $40 for mine.

I recently just had my engine port and polish, milled head and a bigger carb.. well my problem is the stock throttle cable is about a half inch to short because of the 38mm carb i installed.  I was thinking about trying a quadzilla cable, anyone know if that will work or if its longer? what are my other options?
