Cant decide if i like that or not... With headlights like that... The plastic should be shaved... IMO and then rotate the headlights upward.

A few have done dc, there are directions somewhere on here.  You will need a rectifier.

Has anyone tried a DC conversion for a battery with the LTs? I'd love to do something like that. I have some spare little LED light bars I'd like to do something with.

My headlight modification is going awesome.... BUT... I need a new plastic piece for right under where the original headlight would go...

Anyone help me out... That would be awesome. Post Price/condition.

(Me thinking I could fabricate a plastic piece for this from scratch, without that original piece was a mistake)

Actually, forget everything I just said in the last post. The mount bolts up to your handlebars. Geez, I need to read the info on the products before posting. My bad

Hey, I just stumbled onto something on Rocky Mountain. It's from Rigid Industries and they make mounts for leds or you could get the whole package which includes the mounts and lights. There is one mount that looks like you slip it between the front nose of the plastic and frame and just simply screw it al in place. I think that's the setup that's similar to what the banshee guys have. Doesn't look like they mount to anything that's a part of the front suspension. I think I'm going to add this to my wishlist for now

Nice... The plastic where the headlight would go above on my quad is currently missing. So, in some ways it gives me options of what I could do. Based off those options I am puting up a headlight on the brackets that connect the metal plate and supports for the radiator behind where that plastic would be. I believe it will look awesome. Then of course I will have to use my Plastic welder and some time consuming into making a new plastic piece for that. I have confidence I can make this work/look amazing. I will definitely post pics when I am done. Funny most people have never even heard of a plastic welder.

I still have mine from a toy kit I got 17 years ago when I was a younger kid.

Toy of course got recalled because it was too hazardous.dangerous.

But, the idea and efficiency of that toy is very useful as an adult.

This is the link of the lights I'm using. I borrowed a set from work to try out. I'll get them next week so I'll post pics. I'm welding angle iron on the frame where the y is behind the shock.

I put a lsr steering stem on mine so I'm putting the 4" round 9 led lights on my 250 under the fenders behind the shock about 2". I tried a mock up at night and seem light up well and not much in the way of the light. Still in the process of finishing so no pics yet.

Guys have put the 4 in led light on it with the spot light beam. Huge improvement, but remember if you put lights on shocks they will always shoot straight, when on the bars beam shoots where you are going.
I think it was Chrisg that was selling the lights. Member on here. But there is a thread on this on here.

I have also seen that... My fenders are shaved pretty far and that not the approach I intend on taking.

I've seen some with the little led lights mounted on the top of the front shocks bracket like they do on Banshees. However, I think you have to cut the fenders in order to do that. Hope that helps

I am about to make a modification on my headlight. I cant stand the stock headlight assembly and housing. Anyone have any good pictures of what they have done? I already know what I am going to do, but I want to make sure its different than other custom jobs out there.

I have seen very little custom jobs on this matter.
