I actually used por 15 for my first rebuild.. Used it on the frame and it did pretty well!!

i did i really good prep removed old paint with aircraft stripper then wire wheel to bare metal then self etching primer so i was looking at this stuff por 15 37.00 a pint

Prep will make the difference.
A good prep job with good primar can make paint really stick.

If your thinking of spray paint it wont hold up.. Powder coat will work best or you can try something alot stronger called polyurethane paint.. I use valspar and you can buy a paint gun from harbor frieght for cheap. You have to mix it as its a 2 part paint but it works really well!! I painted my entire trx250r with it and rocks and what not dont chip it so bad.. It does come off after a while but lasts waaay longer than rattle can

so im painting axle and a arms and grab bar looking for something that will hold up.
