Thanks. I had to sandblast the frame to check for cracks, so I figured why not go all the way. My good pal paints at work and hooks it up with paint jobs. I might just leave this a dedicated ice quad and park it after winter. We'rr lucky to have ice already. Been riding a large pond for the past two weekends with the pitbikes cause nothing else is ready. . The bay on the Lake I live on that we usually plow track is good to go at 4 inches all the way. Gonna get the lt back down on the ice saturday to dial in the carb for the cold. I went up to a 360 main. I'll be sure to try to remember to take pics.

Gotta git some better tire wraps. With no snow on the ground getting to the lake without ruini g tires is a ****. Good 100 yards of grass to cross. Ripped around in the bay for a bit. Ice was 4 inces but didnt go out more than a couple hundred yards. Ran good on the bottom end but the main was lean so I didnt really let er rip

I spent a couple a nights polishing. Figured why not, something to slow the beers down. Been slow at work. Start to finish on this is about three weeks. Figure I can pound this on the ice and leave the ex for bar runs. My Zilla is in storage. I actually robbed some stuff from it to build this 250r. Sucks to be on a tight budjet. Been thinking about maybe parting it ouy.

The blue is a custom color my pal says, something left over from a job at work. Engine is done with Duplicolor rattle cans.

Long story short I got this quad in fall Of the Craigslist for cheap. Ran great ae main ll fall at sum local private tracks and land, nothing major, just fun riding and whatnot. Someboby loved this quad in the very early 2000's, stacks of reciepts I got when I bought it, and the stuff done to it proved it. Needed front a-arm rebuilt and a couple a frame cracks fixed. So I blasted it all and a very good friend did a top notch paint job, man it's nice to have pals. Put on some l0wering stuff and fabbed some mounts so I can run the swaybay off my 400ex. Gonna rip up the ice this year with it. Had it out on the ice today, lean on the main, but I haven't changed mains vet. Just had to rip it up in the bay for a bit. Pics to come, they're on my phone.
