Is it a clymer or Suzuki. Been a while since I've **** the OEM manual.

damn it said head bolts 22... im gunna use your adivse carl ,I know you know ur stuff bud. maybe my cp is too high ,200 psi.... 25 cc dome at .5 over bore , btw I did get cylinder welded up and came out real good,a buddy of mine works at a local winery that I service there forklifts at. also do you know how good the mossburger reed cages are aka as 1dirracing.

I think you reading it wrong. 8mm bolt or nut don't mean the socket size its the thread diameter. 8 = 14-18
10= 18-22.

not sure carl, shell is new and dome is also new, but I did find two studs starting to pull out of cylinder, I ordered 6 8mmx1.25 x16mm long inserts from msc that's gotta be the problem, is was touque n the bolts to 22 lbs,is that the correct tourque? thanks Mario.

Check to see ho much the insert protrudes from the shell. The insert may be too tall for the shell, usually its the other way around and the shell is worn and the insert sits flush. But your shell could be thinner than usual.

im use n the stock oem head gasket, oem tourque spec, the 87-92 head studs and copper washers and 250r head nuts,deck of cylinder was trued and head was checked and all good,what gives?? should I use the copper coat spray?
