Sounds to me like too much piston to wall clearance too

Mine has this identical  sound as well. Under heavy load, it sounds like a grinding noise. I'd be interested in what the culprit would be. I was thinking rod bearing. Someone has to know what that awful  noise is.

It sounds loose.  I would remove the top end and check the piston clearance and the bore for wear.

Just picked up a 85/86 lt250 and after some parts and tinkering I got it running and riding. But it has a engine noise.  I'm new to the 2 strokes, so I'm not sure if it just me or if its bad. I was wondering if I post a video to YouTube if people could watch it and let me know what they think.  Thanks in advance
