I'm sold. I will go straight for the shim kit. I'm going to take advantage of the summer and go over everything in the winter. I think I will even have hygear suspension rebuild my shocks.
What are some good suggestions for shock swap? Right now I have HPG Racing shocks on the front and the stock on the rear.

Seriously though they worked mint on my Zilla

Buy the premade spacer that Mitch sells on here. Then you dont have to worrt about grinding anything. I just wish he didnt make it out of weak aluminum!!! ( just kidding, kind of a inside joke !)

Im getting ready to pull apart the front end on my 87 250. I want to do the camber mod and bump steer mod.
My questions are:
Should I go with the pre-made spacer kit with new bolts? or is the grind and fab your own spacer equally secure?
Will there be a possibility of the lower ball joint rotating if I should grind away the tabs?
Should the bolts securing the steering (horns) where the tie rods connect be drilled and cotter pinned?
Does anyone know or can relate to the quality of HPG Racing front shocks? It appears they are the same kind that are on SkiDOO MXZ sleds.
Thanks
