Usually one would run the front tire an inch larger diameter than the rears.  Smaller diameter lowers the quad say 18 or 20" for flattrak motocross. Less sidewall flex faster stearing, little ground clearene harder ride.  Taller tires best for desert or trail.  I have 22" on rear and 23'ss Razer ll up front on 9" rims.  It gives me clearence and some cush in the tusch--i ride desert.  It all depends on where you ride.   you can change gearing easy enough so get the tire that suites where and hoow you ride then gear up or down acordingly

As far as i know smaller rear more acceleration and lower ground clearance and bigger rear higher top speed more ground clearance I'm sure there's other things too. With my bear claws and offset rims my back end is very wide and I have stock axel stock z400 hubs

I like those razrs on the front.  The big question would be what is the difference (other than height) would I have with a smaller rear vs a larger rear tire?

In addition..  why does my LT250r look alot wider than most that Ive seen? or is it just my imagination?

What tire sizes do you recommend?  I will be trail and dirt road riding. The gearing is stock.

Right now there is 21x7-10 on the front and 22x12.50-10 on the rear.

Is it better to put a smaller tire on the rear. Seems all pictures I see show a bigger tire in the front.
