3mm eh? Seems small.
OK I played with it a lot out in Idaho so I'll have to take it apart and set it with that small of an opening. Then I'll note that for future reference on my particular setup.

No magic turn number that i know of.  Probably since throttle cables can stretch and the slide will wear.  Just need to set the slide height to about 3mm.
