I wish Lonestar would do a limited run of these frames
-
When's this sale taking place??
-
You Yankees got all the sweet stuff down there. That is one sweet quad and by the looks/sounds of it worth every penny.
-
got any specs on the suspension? i am curious about the wheel travel, bet it has over 12" all around plus a nice rake angle. bet this hybrid rides like a dream on the track and dunes.
No need for any speculation... It's the same as any other trx250r aftermarket framed zps pro trax would be. (Y)

Really nice quad - P*

That is, without a doubt the nicest hybrid.

I hope you get every cent of that 7K. That's a great build and very rare. What does it rent for?? I want to just give it a spin around Glamis for a day! +k2
Most people go buy a new turd bike for more that....but hey they can make "payments". I've put the word out I would sell a couple of mine for a "fair" price but it seems when you name anything up in 6-7K range guys roll their eyes and talk about the one they saw on CL for 1500 bucks.
-
$7k? Damn. I thought this thing was for sale for like 4500 a few years ago.
NO. you're gonna spend $3-4k just getting a Q motor all set up. well a few years ago we did anyway
Brian did come up with several scenarios trying to sell it, I think he offered it with no hipers, no protrax, no handlebars, and no plastic/seat for $4500 when he was in a bind for cash to buy his KTM
hell, I paid $5500 for my other hybrid from Qracer

That's badass it has a 250 or 500 motor I can't tell.
-
So bad ass!!!
-
Your asking seven grand, when is this guy picking it up?
-
JP became lonestar. this has TRX 250r suspension front and rear. laeger protrax up front, custom axis all around. mod list a mile long
supposedly this was the one dirt wheels did an article on way back when. I think I have a copy somewhere, maybe on the old site...

Thank you for the explanation man and I wanna see this hybrid now!!
-
Can you post a pic of it ?
-
Jp racing used to build a arms and swingarms back in late 80's and early 90's. Then they started building custom frames. If I am correct I think there is only about 3 or 4 of these frames ever built. What ever happened to JP? Did they getvbought out or just fold? Wish I had the cash!!
-
Ok I'm clueless on what the JP frames hybrid is exactly?
-
Man sad to see your selling it
Someone is getting a rare machine (Y)
-
If anyone has been paying attention (i doubt it O0 ) I had a guy on a TRX forum contact me about buying the JP framed hybrid. Now Im not trying to start a bid war or anything like that - but I do feel a bit honor bound to you guys to let you know just in case someone has been waiting for me to put it up for sale over the years. the quad is the exact same as when I bought it from Brian, ridden around the neighbor twice for all of about 20 minutes or so.
So speak now or its going to find a new home in Washington state - $7k
