Yeah, I thought that it was a lot too. Especially for not being under pressure. I wouldn't think the waterpump would leak that bad.

Just finally got around to tearing into my lt500. It was leaking coolant into the trans. when i bought it. So, I replaced the water pump, mechanical seal, seal, impellar, the shaft, everything. I even used a banjo crush washer for a good seal on the end of the impellar, and it is still pouring coolant into the trans. I left the drain plug out of the trans, and filled the radiator. Within a minute, I had a steady stream of coolant coming out the trans! I was hoping it was a simple and common fix, and hoped i would'nt have to do a tear down at this time. Any idea whats wrong? Any input would be great! Thanks.
