This is a front view of his bike just days after getting it out of impound. Not a whole lot of damage visible to me anyhow, but i am not a mechanic

Just saw this thread.  I hate to hear that a forum member has passed.  So very sorry for your loss.

Please post a pic of the bike when it's repaired.

I would like to thank PCS for sending me most of the parts needed to fix Durby's LT250R. I am in need of a tie rod and tie rod ends, steering stem and handle bars.

There are no words to express our gratitude to PCS..

Thanks

I believe PCS on here might have a bunch of stuff as well to get your build going. I'd be willing to bet that if someone covered the shipping, you could probably have what he has.

Hey Chuckie25 were you able to find out what you had to spare? I am trying to get his bike done so we can ride it Memorial Weekend if not sooner. I am very grateful that people are willing to help me out. Durby would be so happy :)

thanks for the condolences and everything.... My husband Michael's life was full of happiness and love and he sure enjoyed riding ATV's and especially his LT250R. There are some videos on youtube that have glimpses of him. If interested in viewing, they are under RIP Mike Owens and they are by Steve Hughes.

Thank you so much Chuckie25.

Also Dezsled-There is a small bend in the frame and they are gonna heat up that area and straighten it back out...They said the name of the process, but I can't remember it.

When a Quadracer takes a good hit on one side similar to what yours has been through, the frame itself can get bent. Have someone with a good eye check for any bent frame tubes up front by the a arm mounts.

Good luck on your project.  (Y)

we live in Northern California. I have a guy he was becoming really good friends with here who is willing to do the labor for free. This guy Shaun is the same guy who rebuilt our kids blaster engines recently and didn't charge me a dime for them with what happened to my husband.

it is nice to know there are some really generous and caring people out in the world.

Thanks Brandy

Where are you located? Perhaps someone here is nearby & would be able to lend a hand in the restoration.

Thank you very much. I could not let it go so I had to pay over 700 to get it out of impound. He loved his bike and I have to honor his wishes and memory by keeping it and fixing it up..

Thanks~ Brandy

My husband "Durby" passed away almost 12 weeks ago in an ATV accident. His atv hit a tree and his A-Arms, ball joints (spindle) hit a big tree and rolled causing damage to his steering column and handle bars and are no longer usable, however I am trying to repair his bike to running order. He would not like to see his bike sitting and "rotting" away.. He had just purchased new tires and was out on their "virgin" ride. I do not have a whole lot I can spend, but if anyone has spare parts they are willing to part with for cheap please let me know. thanks~ Brandy

PS I was trying to include a photo but it wont work :(
