I still dont like the TRX450 however, the only Hondas I like have 2 or 3 wheels.

Yep, the 450's and 700's now have been around for a number of years and the builders have figured out how to get some pretty awesome power out of these quads. Problem with this is the 450's are high strung from the factory to compete in motocross races. The builders have punched these out to near 600cc with the supporting mods.... but that is all at a H U G E cost. But speed costs.
I love pulling up to Olds or China wall and running my built Zilla up and down for a few passes then park. Many people come by and are impressed that this 20+ year old technology is 1) still running and 2) runs as well as it does.

The Unicam Honda 450R's run pretty good too!!

Ya those LTR450's are some quick SOB's. Those were the ones that would usually beat me in drags. 62/40 is a respectable number for a 450. But Garrett's got an advantage of having a shop and dyno :D Most everybody else is bolt together and hope!

For a 450 it was pretty fast and another 3rd gear dune machine. Put it in 3rd and you could almost leave it there. Loved that quad. Had a wider axle and houser LT front a-arms along with Motowoz suspension. Had the suspension dialed for the hills and I could wheelie that thing like nobodys business. From a 1st gear slow wheelie up thru 5th gear. Also loved wheeling that thru the large bowls.
Oh well just have to learn on the Zilla with almost no engine compression :D

those r respectable #s

This was my prior ride. The rod was found to be the weak point in the engine and after breaking it twice, I upgraded to the Zilla :D
