thats how it works, i run one still

I haven't seen a working one in a long time but I think there's a pin you push down and it goes into a hole and you pull the clutch back and it engages the parking brake and the clutch lever stays back. Then you pull the clutch lever and it releases the brake. Again the last time I saw a working one me and Columbus were packing up the mayflower and we had a few pops !!! +k2

Maybe when you get a chance sir -

I'd look at mine but it's in a bin at the barn 30 mins away.

This one looks like it just holds the clutch lever open? Its like a pin is missing to catch the parking brake lever.

Man why didn't you let me know I would've given you my stock lever. The button should engage the brake cable when pushed then you pull the lever in and use the lock. Been a while since I looked at it though.

I know 90% of you ditch the parking brake. However, I like how OEM my one 87 Zilla is. One thing that did not work was the parking brake.
The cable is there. BUt how does the button on the top work? I bought a ebay OEM clutch lever assembly and it seems like something is still missing.
