Fantastic, I hope the rest of my build is going to go as smoothly. Since my taxes are going to be in next week I'll FINALLY be able to get my bottom end redone  :)) then I'll send the top end to HPR, modify my frame while its out, and put her all together and I'm good to go break things on it. I'm thinking my swingarm will be the first to go.

Alright so my 88 CDI box is nearly here, and I've been wondering if there are any differences in the wiring colors in between the years? i have the existing wiring from the 86 and I'll be putting in the 88.

Is anything different or should I be ok with matching up the wire colors?

Just wondering if an 88 year CDI would work for the 90 motor that I'm putting into my 85 frame, for my frenkenstien bike?

Thanks.
