also the plate that holds the needle is slotted for the plastic piece to set in. its a little harder putting back in than taking out but after a few times its a piece of cake

pull the spring all the way up and hold with fingers. then tip slide upside down and it will slide out. then u can yake out the 2 screws. the spring is all that holds the plastic piece in

ok, thanks, but how do I get the plastic piece out that appears to be holding the throttle cable in place?

If I remember correctly should be 2 small screws down there once you get the throttle cable out.Take the screws out and the piece the cable hooks into and you should be able to slide the needle out.

Hi Guys - how do I remove the needle from the slide?  I'm trying to confirm the part # and clip position.  I've looked at it, but I'm not seeing how to do this.

Any help is appreciated.
