That yellow ltr isn't the one I bought. That's 13.robbs bike. Did you mix the posts up? Haha! I actually stalled it first time, working the clutch on these is a lot different I find. And no need to wait for the powerband, power's just always there haha

I know this is a 2 stroke website. But, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE my LTR!!!!!!
It is an 06 model. All i can say is it does everything perfectly. Best way to describe is it rides just like an mx bike, But with 4 wheels. I have rode them all and this is the best in my opinion of the big 4 450cc quads. I have some upgrades done to mine, but even a stock bike is freaking perfect!
who said this was only a 2 smoke site? just bc some of these old timers havent upgraded to a more reliable and easier to start 4 poke doesnt mean we are all about 2 smokes here  S~
NOVIS, that is a nice looking ltr450 by the way

picked the quad up today. its insanely clean. looks like I came from the showroom. has about 4 hours since complete tear down and powder coat everything. it was -30 degrees celsius today, to cold to go out riding, so just took it down the road real quick. gonna take some time to adjust to 4 strokes but im gonna get out on it tomorrow. ill get some close up pics tomorrow also.

Yeah, bars are a little high for my liking but I would swap my pro taper fat bars on from my 250 on it.

Title: Getting a new ride
Post by: NOVIS on December 31, 2013, 04:58:58 pm
I have wanted an ltr450 since i first seen one back when they came out. Found a nearly stock, very low hour 2008 and talked the guy down to 3000. Which around here is a very good price. going to go check it out Friday morning.

Mostly wanted to upgrade because I do a lot of long distance rides by myself on the lake, and although my 250 is tuned very well, I don't trust it enough going wot for long periods at a time. It did let me down last year and was stranded quite a ways from home and had to get towed back. It'll also be much better for mx in the summer.

Anyway. I'm pretty pumped. Check it out.
