Ill do a little digging this weekend I should have a 87 intake somewhere. I'm never gonna use it, pretty sure it will be cut for v force reeds though. maybe not could be left over from before I went to them.

the 5 bolt is an 87 and the reed cage is larger. but the diameter of the area where the carb bolts to should be the same. is it a stock carb?

How many bolts  are on top of the reed cage.
1= 87. There is a Total of 5
2 = 88+ has a total of 6 bolts.

The 87 is the large reed. If you need a small reed cage and manifold I have  a OEM and a boyseen. The boyseen is Allamericans. You can get with him on a price if you want that one.

87 was the big reed's 88-92 were the small reeds.

The 250 and 500 boots interchange, but the 500 is both bigger and at an angle compared to the 250

ok im back at my quadracer 250 rebuild its been a rough couple months haven't had much time to ef with it but I got motor all put back together but some how I over looked that my jug must be off a 91? or whenever they change the exhaust port size what I nned to find out is what years have the same size carb boot so I can get one cause I have 2 quadracer carbs off 87s and 2 carb boots off 87s and a carb boot off a quadzilla cause its way to big for my carbs thanks :)
