you cannot use that cap on a Tank like this.  Has to be a Flat , Frame Rail is In The Center of the tank ,

Electronic Float inside the tank Would work.

i need to Do a min of 100 miles on a tank , (Full Bore) (Flat out) for like 75% of it.

So when i make my tank ill make it to fit 5+ gals   Think there is room to fit a 6-7 Gal Tank?

We had a 5 gallon aluminum tank on the race quad, pits were planned every 50 miles. Avatar pic is the Zilla at the '93 Baja 1000.
Thats a good safe number Dez, Stock tank hold close to 3.50 gals, a 5 gal tank would be nice! every engine is different depending on all kinds of variables from carb size, compression, porting , size of rider, flat ground vs hills, rpm, open air box, closed air box and so on.

I'll have to start tracking my hours/miles closer now that I'm running the Vapor computer.  Of course it all depends how much racing/full throttle you do while out riding to how long that tank will last.

A larger tank would be nice.  Especially if the ISDRA RAMP plan actually opens most of the closed areas in Glamis.  Taking the dunes from Olds to Patton Valley would be nice :D

I only checked once but, got like 60 miles.  And that was with nothing left at all in the tank.  I mean you look in there and nothing but black plastic
