Jack, any chance your pipes will work with the Texiarra Tech rear end plates using a longer Elka shock that uses the lower shock mount on the plates?
Or, any chance you're looking for someone with this setup to send a freebie to test fit and finish and report back what needs to be changed for it to work? :)
Either way, I might be interested.

Yeah it's in primo shape silencer freshly packed and all super clean nickel plating too.
-
It's in good shape too!
I'm testing mine. So far so good. :)

Found a Bills pipe (made by power pros) pretty sure it's the exact same as the Trinity pipe. Got it for $249 which is a good deal considering how hard they are to find.

Unless you can find a used Trinity/hetrick/CT (the only ones worth buying) not much available.
Stay away from the FMF and DG.
I'm having pipes made. Don't have a finish date as I'm going to test first.

Hello, I'm new here and have a1990 lt80, I'm looking for a used aftermarket pipe. Anyone have one for sale? Thanks
-
Naw Im done, too damn time consuming and costly for the return , have my **** 74 Blazer sucking up all my cash these days.
-
Time for a DCS LT80 pipe. :o
-
Im not big fan of Jacks work, ( Jack I will leave it alone here) I ended up taking my daughters LT80 to Tudors, thing ripped with stock pipe , stock carb, changed the gearing to early years and 428 pitch, did wheelies with Jeff Tudors riding it, You know me I love to hot rod these quads, I save the cash run the stock pipe or keep hunting for LRD pipe, use that money to upgrade the shocks, be surprised how much mor eyour kid will peg the throttle with the shocks set up for taht LT80.
-
#1 I don't have any pipes.
#2 I didn't buy that other pipe. If I did, I wouldn't sell it.
Heaven forbid someone try to help out without some foo spouting off ridiculousnesses.... (pg)

I have a used Pipe for sale it is either a Trinity or CT . 75 bucks plus shipping
-
FYI:: A customer just told me that Trinity has them in stock......finally.
-
How much would you have to have for your pipe? Maybe the carb too for down the road.
-
I have an extra trinity pipe I might be willing to sell. I picked it and the bigger dg carb up in a package deal. I was thinking of using it on an lt80 build that is underway, but I'm just putting it together to sell it. Most folks don't want to pay for the performance parts on a kids quad.
I have one on my daughters bike that I found for $150. It really woke up her bike along with the stuff jack did.
-
My boy loves his lt80. But I would love to here him when he's out of sight. Anybody have a used aftermarket cheap exhaust system they'd sell?
I,ve seen the odd one come up for sale here in Ontario Canada.I,ll post a link if another one comes up for sale.
-
cant go wrong with jack, unless you some cheap @ss that wants 2nd hand parts or you try to send your own stuff.
jack wont do you wrong, you just gotta trust him. he really knows what he is doing.

LT80 (Jack Moore) is a great guy who does incredible work! My daughters lt80 rips with a bit of "Moore" Power!!
-
lt80 is the man when it comes to the 80's.
he builds some of the fastest ones out there... i wish the one we bought for on boy was a 2 stroke. but
we got such a killer deal on his 07 couldnt pass it up.

"I think if you are a bit crafty you might be able to slice the silencer and remove the baffles. You will need to weld it up once you are done."
Don't do that!
There are no baffles plus the stock pipe works well.
I've seen modded stock pipes and there has never been a positive increase.
The Trinity is the best pipe....IMO.

I got fmf setup boysen reeds different gearing uni filter. On my nephew and he got out ran by a stock at the drag races. Ht ibthink it needs a new bore and carb..
-
Yeah I was looking to get him a trinity pipe and it was like $275! Yeah for not even 2 feet of exhaust pipe you can get lost for $275!
-
Oh yeah, and they're way too proud of a new one. It's a simple rear exit exhaust system, but it's like buying a system for a full size quad.
-
Hard market place for used aftermarket stuff. My nephew has the exact same year lt80, been on the look out for an aftermarket exhaust for a few months now.
