If its the right washer from factory.  It doesnt have any magnetic properties.  So you will have to take clutch cover off or split the cases.

small magnet or take clutch cover off.
if you can put a magnet on a string that should get it out.

Flip the quad upside down and shake it. If that doesn't work try a magnet on the end of a piece of thick copper strand wire.

There is a thread located next to last on this engine forum that talks about the power valves if you guys want any reference material. I don't know the answer to his question but I thought it may help ya.  Good luck with it.

Bottom end as in by the clutch or by the crank?

ok so i was taking the cylinder off and i took the powervalve bolt off and the washer went into bottem end -__- what do i have to do to get it out ? <1>
