Since there does not look to be a spot on the forum to recognize other members.
I just wanted to put it out there.

I got a package today, and Twinzilla came thru with some great parts exactly as described that will get my trans back up and running as good as new, at a very fair fee.

Great communication, Great parts, Great packaging, Fast shipping.  Who could ask for more???

Thank you Sir, I appreciate it.

OK I get it you guys want a Feed Back Section..........

That would be great if you do.  Thanks for looking.
If so, PM me with what you have and what you want for it.

Well, I pulled down the engine to  put in the 4th gear change over for my 87.  Should be pretty basic R&R, right......
Well, of course it was not.
1st)
When I pulled the cylinder, the front hold down stud into the expansion chamber broke out of the case and came off with it.  Looks like it has been that way for a while.

2nd)
I know there was something going on when I pulled the left cover off and the balancer spun freely.  Not a good thing.  Strange, the last trip out, I didn't notice any exsessive vibration.

Well, when I opened up the clutch side: (pics of carnage below)
-the nut on the crank was loose and just floating on the crank end.  To the point that all the treads had been polished off and the crank threads warn down.
-The balancer nut had also backed off and was floating on the end of the shaft.
  - The Balancer drive and Driven gears are torn up.
  - And it was a bit tough to get the internal balancer off the shaft with the burs and Key all deformed.

So, now,  before I go out and order OEM parts, I am looking out to see if anyone has any of these parts available and are not needed.
Please let me know if any of you out there can help.
Thanks,
AZ
