If I remember right, it goes to the cdi and then i think a blue comes from there to the coil. At least that's where it goes on an 87.

if anyone has a wiring diagram that would be awesome I believe the motor is and 85-86

out of the stator cover I have a few wires yellow/ red tracer, black with red tracer black with a white tracer solid white and solid black I am pretty sure about these wires but there is a blue one where does that go?
