Title: Re: On the LT500 Front 7" rims what was the wanted offset?
Post by: Mitch Keller on October 09, 2012, 01:28:18 pm
3.5-3.5 If I remember rite the offset flipped with the old dougls wheels didnt clear the caliper but a washer made it so if you got a set of centered wheels they should work. There is also a ball joint clearance issue I would watch for .
The old douglas wheels were 3-4

Thanks Carl 3"/ 4"

Unfortunately,  Dave Kuskie called me and told me that the 7" offset rims are not made any more, only the Centered 3.500"/ 3.500" on any make Suzuki/ Honda/ Yamaha....

The old douglas wheels were 3-4, I ran them flipped for a 4-3.

I think mine are 3"/4".  This is putting more stress on the hubs, ball joints etc....  I think you would want 4"/3" for the less stress inducing setup... IMO.

Looking into the new hub setup, but I can not remember the offset wanted for the LT500 7" wide rims, was it 3"/ 4" or 4"/ 3". :'(
