Crash, I do take the 10, get off in Blythe and go through the farms and on to beach store.  It does get a bit curvy and small rolling hills.  Takes about 3.5 hours, after stopping in Blythe for fuel and dinner.

I will be coming out of Tucson, I wish It was only 15 minutes away... Ive never made the canal run just sand highway from gecko to the drag flats..

Do you run the 10 to imperial Bfuss?

The Maricopa County Boys usually take I-10 Westbound to Blythe then Hwy 78 to Glamis. If you are coming from Pima, then just take I-8 Westbound to Ogilby Rd, then North to get to the 78.

To get to Buttercup / Gordons Well, it's much easier for everyone to just take I-8 direct.

That would be fun. It would probably be better to run knobbies for that trip. How many miles each way do you estimate from Gordons Well to Roadrunner Loop?

The canal run sounds fun, just not on my Zilla. Maybe I will dust the cob webs off the yz426 for that run.

Heck I wanna ride to glamis from buttercup or vise versa, hammering along next to the canal so I couldn't get lost.

The last time I was at buttercup there was a vendor with rib eye steaks & all the fixins. It was great riding all day not having to cook.... Musta been '06

I am currently working my butt of getting things done for the Halloween weekend. I haven't decided if I will be on site the actual night of Halloween or not yet. Friday for sure. As of now looking to be in the Butter Cup/Gordons Well area.

Anyone else planning on being out the mentioned weekend. Promise my bike wont blow up 5 mins after being pulled off the trailer and Im bringing a spare engine...
