Damn I always forget Mike, Don't think he's doing a lot of QR work anymore though. Mostly restoring muscle cars and occasionally making us some cool parts. AA you'll be happy with the Iceman (Y)
His full time job is auto body and restoration (of anything as far as I can tell) but he is still doing work on these engines and quads.
When I dropped of my 250 cylinder last fall he was working on an old stage coach... Pretty cool.

He quoted me a price for squash milling that you can't beat I think. Thank you guys, but I still have other problems. I just discovered with the shifting lever is bent and I just want to send the whole motor and everything I have bought, which is a lot but I think it would be best to have someone look at my lower end before I ride this since I have so much money into it.

Talk to either Jerry Hall (motorgeek) or Carl(Iceracer) I won't recommend any other builders beside those 2. Jerry is out west and Carl in the east. Call which ever one up, they will tell you how to check it, then all you will have to do is send your head. It doesn't cost a lot to have done. Your bike will be more reliable, easier to tune and a little more power. It is a must with these old Zuki's.

That's what I'm talking about. I new to the lt engines and don't know all the terms or exactly what they mean. I'm trying though. I'll give a builder a call. Thanks man

Are you asking about the squish band in the head?
If so, give the builders listed and talked about on this forum a call. They will discuss what you want from the engine based on the type of riding you do and offer suggestions about what could be done to accomplish that goal.

Was interested in talking to somebody to find out if I need squash millworker done. How much it costs, do I have to ship the whole four wheeler to them? How long does it take? Would it make the quad perform better, would it make my builds last longer?
