Damn. There's a set of front Ohlin's on ebay currently for $150 for an 88.

Definitely NOT a bolt and go ordeal. You have to cut out the 86 upper mounts, then fab a totally new upper brace that sits above the frame. The 86 mounts are below the frame. I made the conversion on my 86, took about 6 hours from start to finish.
