Just tighten it up and make it run good. Ride that beatch and if your into it, then address astetics. Paint and and chrome don't get you home. Maybe spring for a couple new lug nuts too

Depends how deep you wanna dig in your pockets. And how in depth you want your build to be whether or not you'll be painting or powder coating.

It looks like your axle is a 2+2 by the spacers on it.  I dont know offhand what the exact width should be.  May change some based on tires/ wheels too.  I wanna say stock is like 47 inches?

Seeing as I've finally started making progress on my 500, I'll make a thread.

The previous owner put a new top end in it. My word does it take some effort to kick over!  -->
I just cleaned out the carb and after some kicking it roared to life.

Currently it looks pretty bad but I do have all the fairings and seat. I just need to get a bolt kit.
Some mods, DG front bumper, nice looking Nerfs and a Durablue axle plus hubs. How can I figure out if it the axle is wider?

Somehow there are no lug nuts on the right front! How does that even happen!

I'll update this thread occasionally as I make improvement and fix things :)
