So finding a used one is the best option.
-
Think westtexasking has a titanium axle. BAC Technology has a carbon fiber axle.
I believe West got his from Shannon (sp) - aka BadassLt. I pretty sure he had his made. He rode with us at Little Sahara a few times.
-
I'm guessing it's over $1500 new. I've seen titanium axles with hubs go for $1500. I know RAD makes a titanium axle for the Banshee.
-
i would say expect to pay over 750 for one
-
That's dumb they cant just put a base price on one. Guess Ill give em a call just see what they want for one.
-
So where do I get a price for one of those axles? Cant seem to find it on there site.

Anything can be made with enough time and money.
-
That's ridiculous.who could afford a carbon fiber axle. How much does that run? An arm and leg?
-

-
Well, I'm glad that others have had good experiences, but how does that help ME? (pg)
-
Has there ever been a titanium axle made? Or am I now the peanut gallery? Lmfao!
-
i never had durablue problems, i even got a sweet sponsership with them, if any one needs durablue parts just let me know i get them 10% under dealer cost. also i had a eliminator axle in the racer before the x33 but i hit the bleachers at the palace and destroyed the axle. i had buddy from local bike shop print me a reciet for the axle and 2 months later i sent it to them for warranty, had to wait alittle it didnt look new, but any ways they sent a new one with in 3 weeks.
-
You gotta be kidding me. My parts guy called again. They say it'll be another "30-60 days."
-
What's so funny?
Anyway, Lonestar says they aren't making axles anymore. Get em while you can! Not for the Zilla of course. (pg)
-
Hahaha
-
**** on you Wyatt. -->
:D
-
HAHA too bad!
This thing is worth its weight in gold :P
-
Maybe...got pics?
-
You want to buy my titanium +2 axle?
-
Yup, good help is hard to find. Sounds like you spoke with my bosses wife at my job. [|]
-
I just don't like how they're not all on the same damn page is all. (pg)
-
Yeah they should have, But because one person spoke outta turn in a big operation doesn't mean you should go flame their reputation. Not many people or companies doing anything with these old birds. Most builders/ fabricators will shy away people who are quick to air out dirty laundry on a public forum. Just sayin, Its not as if you got robbed.
-
OK Gil. But they should've checked before RUNNING THEIR MOUTH.
MH, I talked to Lonestar, and they don't have any. I asked them if they could make one/some, but they haven't gotten back to me quite yet. I am patient, under CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.
Where is Yuzuha anyway?
Charles, I grow impatient with your constant negativity. I find your lack of faith disturbing...
86, they sure aren't going to sell ME any products.
-
Durablue seems to make and sell lots of stuff too.
-
Lmao..... (Legitly eating popcorn right now so it's even better!!)
Side note 1: Having a popcorn machine is AWESOME.
Side note 2: I've never had any problems with Durablue myself. Are you sure you didn't just PLAN to call them? And something misshapped?
-
how do you guys get ahold of Jason? Does he still come on here and just not post.
-
If you're ordering parts through anyone but Jason from Honda east you're not gonna be as satisfied as you could've been.
-
Durablue makes a quality product. I would always contact Jason first about parts. He's the man and hooks it up.
-
Exactly.... Jason is who you should be buying thru.
-
Should've just got a new one from ebay... I get everything off ebay, and motosprt. Also yuzuha.
-
Took 3weeks to get mine 7yrs ago. They were getting chromed? lol! got it and shitty chrome job rusted within a couple rides.. Think LSR uses durablue to manufacture theirs. Axcalibur by far best axle for Zilla I've seen heavy but pretty lol..
-
Lied to or have someone in a decent sized company tell you they can produce you a part for a 20+ year old machine with out checking material/tooling inventory? Big difference there.
-
I'm sure they are good stuff, but I'm not buying ANYTHING from them because of this incident. I don't like being LIED to.
-
Gotta say, I have a bunch of durablue stuff. Never had any problems. When I bought my axle off ebay I didn't realize it didnt have any of the hubs or hardware. I called them and they sent me everything I needed ( for the cost of the parts of course) and did it in a quick manner. I think 2-3 week lead sucks when it gets blown, but It could be worst (refer to the mhr thread).
-
Thanks Mitch.
But I'm so disgusted I don't even want to buy an axle made by them.
-
Well these folks seem to have one left?

These folks say they have 8 left in stock

You are forgiven, only if you find it unbelievably F-----G stupid as well. >:(
-
I find this comical. I'm sorry.
-
I ordered a DuraBlue eliminator +2+2 axle for the Zilla I'm restoring for a friend at the very end of June or July 1st. My parts buddy did some digging, and Parts Unlimited didn't have one, so we went through Durablue. They didn't have any in stock, but they said that it'd take "2-3 weeks" to get us one. Well, that time came and went. My buddy called them the last week, and it rang for 5 or so minutes, so he hung up. He talked to the "big boss" today, and you know what those M-----------S SAID?!?! THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE STEEL TO MAKE THEM, AND IT'LL BE ANOTHER "8-9 WEEKS"!!!!! WHAT THE FLYING F--K KINDA AXLE MAKER DOESN'T HAVE F-----G AXLE STEEL TO MAKE F-----G AXLES FROM?!?!?! I ENCOURAGE ALL QUADRACER/ATV ENTHUSIASTS NOT TO BUY ANYTHING FROM DURABLUE. I just contacted LoneStar about axles. Let's hope it goes somewhere.
Thank you for listening.

Well, Lonestar says they don't have any more. I asked if they could make some or know of someone who still makes them. Dammit.
