There's another track about 2hrs from the house. Thunder Valley Sanddrags. They have jeeps, trucks and dragsters that run down the track also. Looks like a sweet track.

Anyone interested in a motor package (Engine, ignition, pipe, carb, ect)? Cost almost 10g's in all that... not including assembly cost.

Zilla chromoly drag chassis? Rolling or not? Cost 2900 brand new

Paddle tires? cost 1000 brand new

JJ&A axle? cost 600 brand new

JJ&A 3 spoke wheels on tapered shafts? Cost 700 brand new

Boss Noss Nitranol banshee kit (25hp-50hp) with extra 2.5lb bottle? Cost 800 brand new

16g so far and not including puttimg it all together. Sure I am missing some stuff. All I want is 10g for it. You get everything I have for it. Even the saw horses its on. lol

Im moving in a month and would like it gone. Wish someone would pick this up

thanks for trying to keep it on track tex, than completely doing the opposite.

LOL
I wasn't trying to keep it on track, I was just keeping your thread visible to anyone looking on the home page.
It's called bumping a thread back up to the top.
Otherwise it gets buried in all the other threads and nobody sees it.
It's cool though, you don't have to pay me for my services this time...

For the sake of keeping Simpleton's thread on first page...

Jerry, have you seen the V-8 version of the Hayabusa?
Basically two engines grafted together, supposedly makes 400+HP normally aspirated!

I have seen the one that uses two Busa heads on a custom V-8 lower end.

just weighed it. it has gained some weight by wheelie bar, chain, oil, fuel, coolant, wiring, pipe. you get my drift. weighs in at 265# wet ready to make a pass(no nitrous)..

Screw the RZR's, I'd rather have a turbo busa powered FL400R with long travel suspension, or a Redline Revolt XL with the same.

We have dyno tuned a few turbo Busas in small sand rails that make over 400 HP to the rear wheels

Post by: WestTexasKing on July 31, 2013, 01:06:32 am
There's also a number of single seat sandrails that use streetbike engines, you can make them with whatever wheelbase you want.
The Revolt is just a nicely put together machine, fitted body panels and everything give it a real clean look.

all the places have been shut down. only place to ride wide open is on private property or the 1/8 mile or the local sand drags and its gone down hill (crowd). it costs to much to travel to other states (MO,KY,MI,)

im looking at moving and getting a new job so i will no longer be able to ride this. unfortunately when my zilla top end gets back and heat cycles its up for sale also. id much rather enjoy doing something with my kids rather than me going out and having fun if you get my drift. its better to ride two or four than one guy. they do make turbo kits for the 4 seater rzr's now... lol and the 1000 was unvailed so....

97 @ 8200. the tq was lower rpm. but everytime i changed the timing curve it made more power and moved the tq curve. i stopped at 97hp because the timing was getting out of hand. it really needs to go back to the dyno.

Any interest in a 685cc Liger Zilla?? May be time to move on with something else. All machine work was done by Hybrid Engineering Pete Schemberger. Im sure I have missed a few things but Im pretty sure I got it all. Frame will need to be powder coated again. The frame was polished chromoly and cleared. But didnt stick. Fastest time so far on the bike was 4.14 seconds. Has more in it with leaner jetting and the nitrous. Easily a 3 second bike. Last time it was dyno'd was 97hp and 67# tq at 8200rpms. The dyno was on a atv dyno with no brake. The bike wasnt loaded enough and had alot of ignition timing in it. It has an entirely different curve and jetting in it now. So I would guesstimate its around 110-115hp. Here are the details below:

-Modified Lt500 Cases to fit Liger cylinder along with adapter plate
-Destroked zilla crank to 83mm. work done by Crankworks
-102.5mm Liger cylinder by CP Ind Inc potred by Hybrid Engineering
-Single plug Cast head with changeable domes
-V-Force 3 reeds
-UPP Caracal Intake and Billet intake by 500Fanatic
-54mm Crankshop carb with Cast bowl with extra float needle (Dual inlet carb)converted to alky. Carb uses VM jets. Has an air jet in the air bell, pilot jet, changeable brass emulsion    tube, main jets and two powerjets. There is a spot for a third ready to go
-Back Cut and 1-3 Override by WCR. It has the close ratio tranny in it
-Modified clutch to accept the lockup designed by GP Engineering
-Standard clutch basket to accept the 9 plate setup
-Terry Cable thumb throttle
-Standard Clutch lever and Pingel switched clutch lever
-Pingel Billet Kill Switch
-Custom aluminum flywheel with MSD brand magnets
-5 sets of clutch springs ranging from 40# to 73#
-Countershaft sprockets 14-17tooth  rear 38-51t minus a few in between
-Custom stator plate with MSD Hall Effects pick up
-(2) Fully programmable MSD ignition box with software disk and data cable
-(2) Milwaukee 18V cordless batteries with charger
-Shearer Custom Pipes OOF pipe
-Modified stator cover rotor start
-Complete Boss Noss Banshee Nitranol nitrous kit. Has options for 20hp shot (one nozzle) up to 50hp shot(two nozzles). Uses methanol as enrichment fuel
-(2) 2.5# nitrous bottles
-Home built rotor starter
-82" AM Chassis, Titanium steering shaft. Tank in the nose. JJ&A banshee rear axle, JJ&A billet brake rezzy. Mounts for nitrous kit
-JJ&A 3 spoke front wheels
-24x11x10 14stg Extremes BRAND NEW mounted on 10x9 4/115 blue label wheel
-24x11x10 16stg Extremes BRAND NEW 10x9 4/115 blue label wheel
