Answering pms now, i'm sorry for the late replies. I'm dealing with something pretty personal at the moment. So i'm a bit behind.
-

Wowsers! That's a great deal!

-
I'm 3.5 hrs away. Boy is it tempting
-
going to be a long drive.
Bike is located in Fishkill Ny 12524.
-
If you live near me I will pick it up I am in wisconsin
-
Still got it.
-
You ever end up selling this?
-
I wouldn't want to sell just the bottom end. I don't even want to piece it out. I would like for someone to enjoy the bike.
Also, yes i know it has value since a known builder built it. When i first got the motor back i had an offer of 1700 for just the motor. At the time i was filled with thoughts of finishing the bike and whipping ass on local lake races. I even wanted to hit up lake george with it and see the big boys race, and try my luck out as well.
-
That sounds much better than selling everything! (Y)
-
I'm not leaving. Just right now i could use the money. I will be back. I always wanted to build a real hybrid. Not that clunker that was falling apart MHR sold me.
Maybe i should sell the 500 as a roller keep the motor and stuff it in the 250 roller i have.
There is alot of value in a solid 500 motor that's ready to go. Especially one done by a known Zilla builder.
-
Interested in selling just the bottom end?

Once your in the quadracer world you can check out any time you like but you can never leave. Try to leave we send guido to pay yous a visit.
-
Damn dude so it looks like you are leaving the quadracer world. :-\
-
Yup, sweet deal. Wish I had some extra dolla's layin round.
-
Yeah, i have 1000+ just into motor just for new parts, labor and machining.
The frame is nice, the bike is good to go with those few bits and ends. I would even take a built 87-92 quadracer 250 motor in partial trade for the whole bike. So i can finish my other bike and get rid of it since i won't be seeing the motor from MHR.
-
That's a smoking deal for the whole quad.
-
Alright, so IceRacer Built this motor for me. Sadly, i got the motor back after i crashed a hybrid 250 that MHR sold me.
So i never got around to even starting this engine. I started not to long ago putting the bike back together. Then lost interest in doing it. Back still hurts when i ride my honda 450er. So i figured, this wouldn't help matters.
So i figured, time to let it go. Either as a whole ( which i prefer) or maybe piece by piece?
Anyways, here what was done to the motor. I'm sure i will forget something, so maybe IceRacer can chime in.
The squish angle was fixed.
I believe the head of o-ringed
New Crank bearings and seals.
3 of the transmission gears were replaced.
machined base gasket and head gaskets. ( i have the paper of diameter and thickness)
Was told the head was cut to run on 100+ octane.
We didn't go all out on making it a super beast. I wanted a reliable strong motor. So i don't think we did any port work or anything like that.
The bike is almost complete. Its missing a few things.
Missing list
Spark plug cap
Bolts and studs for the chain adjustment.
Thats all its missing.
Right now the plastics are off it. Have all monting hardware and seat.
Here are a few pictures.

The extra weld on the jug. IceRacer told me it was a scratch but they weren't taking any chances so they put a line of weld down it.
The whole bike for 2000$
Just the motor for 1500$
Here is how she looks with plastics and seat.

The motor has never been ran since rebuild. So you aren't getting junk.
