got them out after heating it 3 times,, had to use the BIG punch, lol,

Lots of heat is your best friend when removing bearings along with some not so gentile persuasion.     When putting them in, put the bearings in the freezer over night and the housing they are going into in the oven at 200 degrees for a while--or a torch in you would rather.  They SHOULD go in fairly easy this way---but my experience getting them out is the hard part.

One has to try to put dents in it, from what I remember.

thanks, i just don't want to put dings on the edge of the spacer by accident, but its loose anyways so i guess it would't matter

I've always used the punch method, but I suppose heating it up would help.
I don't recall about the spacer.
When you put the new bearings in, seat the RIGHT one first, then add the spacer, and the LEFT bearing.

is it easier to heat up the axel housing and use a bearing puller or can you get them out with a long punch, or push one out than do other side after removing round spacer ?
also is the spacer inside housing suppose to be a little loose  ?
