The Calfab may be a dead weight. But IMO, these bikes aren't competitive anymore anyway so I don't see the point in trying to me. I have a friend who races semi pro ATV MX and there isn't a single 2 stroke in the bunch.
That swingarm is just a neat time piece I'd like to add to my bike.

I had a yamaha blaster that i shoehorned a phase 5 tri-z motor in back in the mid-late 90's. Made those pesky 250r's not so pesky on the flattrack/tt races!

Didn't Answer make silencers for the LT's?
Yeah I have one, it looks like the I. D. of the core isn't increased in size for the 500 either....

i got boost bottles, who wants to add more hp to your time machine..

Don't know about a boost bottle, but I had a answer silencer that fit up against the stock pipe on my 87' at one time. Still have it laying around somewhere.

Graydon proline had alot of bolt on's for the LT's
Cascade still makes some nice seat covers

Funco (the sandcar guys) made a sweet anti-bumpsteer system for 250's during that time.
I've got one in the shop, pretty nice hardware.

As you probably know some of these are still around, most are still selling the same technology they had back in the 80's/90's

Westcoast, Bills, and Phase 5, DG are only few that I know/can think of. A buddy of mine in Cali buys bikes to part them out and he got an 86 in with a lot of old school cool parts on it.

califab is a lead weight, good for a woods beater. nice swinger, but there are better ones out there now.

Back in the 80s, who made "trick" (outdated term) parts for the LT series? I'm too young to even be around then!
From my experience with all of my 80s sportbikes, I know the following "Old school" companies: Performance Machine (used to make nice parts for imports, now it's just Harley stuff), Vance & Hines, Hindle, Kerker, Marvic, Yoshimura, Calfab, JMC, Lockhart Philips and others I'm sure.
Speaking of Calfab, there is currently a beautiful Calfab swing arm for an '86 250 on eBay right now. Too rich for my blood but it is gorgeous.
