-
Mine came today.......it looks good.
-
yeah intake.
-
well just like a car, 200 is getting hot, anything over 210 i shut down, then temp always goes up another 10 when you shut down.
-
got mine also. getting something else from him for thebig motor!!
Billet Intake?
-
What temp is considered too hot or at what point should you let it cool.
-
Sure beats those sticker things that go on the motor. these things look pretty cool (Y)

Pictures?
-
I will be keeping an eye on my mailbox
-
My heatseeker showed up today and they turned out great.
-
I got the same email. ao we should have them in a few days.
-
nevermind. got an email here recently from mike saying they going out in the morning.
-
anyone receive theirs yet?
-
My temp gauge is the radiator blowoff tube, when I see steam coming out I know it's hot.
I don't have to lean over and read a gauge either :))
-
im in. sent an email for 2. thanks everyone for the group buy.
-
Go ahead with you order, shoot for Monday.
-
All without having to lean off the bike to check an ESR type gauge!
-
so how many is that now? im still in for two.
-
This is by far one of the best things you can put on your LT, it is important to know temp
of bike when woods riding, temp always climbs and now you will have a eye on it.
-
You guys can go ahead with your orders, I'll buy two.
-
OK thats 9----we need one more---or someone needs to buy two
-
Cool! I'm in for 1 repair & one new one.
-
El Diablo- I spoke with mike, he would replace the temperature gauge with a new one and reuse the elbow if that the route you wanted to go.
-
El Diablo--you have me confused with someone else I guess. I have had no contact with the guy who makes them. Check with Sledhead--he is the one who set up the group buy and spoke to the guy who makes them. Im just trying to rally the troups to get 10 people interested.
-
Quadman8, did you ever find out if he is able to repair my original heatseeker? It's stuck at 180 right now.
-
OK thats 8---we need two more!!!!
-
put me down for one gauge.
-
That was my last resort, I travel for work putting in 12 hour days, 7days a week. I'm not really at the place to be trying to sell and ship these out, but I guess I may have to if I want one for myself.
-
Sled, you should buy the rest and sell them to forum peeps as they need them.
-
Come on fellas, anybody? Everybody? Get your hands on a classic heatseeker! Only need a few good men needed! Line up here!
-
You shouldn't have a problem hitting 88mph...my 250 could go faster than that and it was virtually stock (rad valve, uni open element, Q pipe).
-
Just hope that when I get my motor back from HPR that it reaches the necessary 88mph that makes time travel possible! On a different note, anybody else need the heatseeker temp gauge to monitor engine temps?
-
I do, but the causality elimination circuit has been on the fritz.
If it's active whilst traveling conventionally in Newtonian law, you increasingly experience time dilation in the same manner as if you were increasing relativistic speeds.
Just wouldn't feel right about selling it until I can fix the problem.
-
Tex, you have a flux capacitor I could buy from ya? LOL.....
-
I don't want my zilla to be a gotty time machine, going for a shiny basic old school look.
People probably wouldn't even notice it on the handlebars, but it's cool....whatever hydroplanes your quad :)
One good thing about the heatseeker is the tubing and where it's located.
That solid tubing negates the need for formed radiator hose, so you can use a straight hose without developing a kink or restriction at that bend.

That's a terrible idea buckeye sush u be quiet because me wants one of these contraptions! S~
-
Not to burst any bubbles but you know you can get a trail tech vapor speedometer/tachometer with temp gauge from Jason for $96+ shipping. Spend a little more get a lot more features.
-
I'll be in for one, but have to catch up on bills first. Probably another 2 weeks.
-
Here are some pics of the original heat seeker, the new one's will be the same but an all white gauge face.
-
I talked to Mike from Full Tilt and he is willing to make some new gauges if 10 or more people are interested in them. They wont be the original heat seeker gauge face it will be a all white face, it will be $35 plus shipping. You can place your order with him by email or phone at the web site below. So far i believe Chrisr, BadmoonRacing500, QuadMan8, Dangerouspower, Stpltn25r (possibly wanting 2) and myself want one.
