I have stored all my quads and some freinds quads that way for years. As long as gas is turned off, and vent lines are routed up, no problems. However, if you have one of those mini vent lines on your gas cap breather, make sure the tank is less than 1/2 full, that mistake cost me seat foam on my yfz.

I've seen guys load 6 on a 3 bike trailer, all standing up and hauling out to River Ranch for the Lake Wales Mudfest. Seemed a bit scetchy to me, but whatever works I guess!

My 250 sat like that over 10 years straight. No fuel in it. And it was fine.
-
I remember seeing a member on the old site that stored several quads vertically, no problems.
Just make sure you shut the fuel off or the carb might leak fuel all over the place.
If the crankcase leaks oil, re-position the vent line higher up.
No harm in storing a quad like this so long as the fluids don't leak out.

I know a zilla will store vertical just fine. My headgasket weeped a little coolant after 2 years, all else was good

I have the same issue, I store my trx250rs, ltr450 vertically. The banshee will drain it's gearbox oil out... Dont ask me how I know. :))
-
I would drain all fluids then there's no worries.

Is there any harm to storing a quad on end ( vertical on rear tires with nose in the air). Friend needs more space in his workshop. Has zilla, banshee,, and honda 400. I dont know if if it would have any adverse effect with the fluids moving there they do not normally go.
