a zilla spring is bigger round then a 250,
-
Thanks again Dustin Hoffman
-
My hybrid spring is stock and seems fine. But I haven't ridden the wife's in years. Her narrow ass don't compress it at all! Lol
-
That's odd.Race Tech has a spring rate chart on their site.Just enter the info.A Zilla spring may work, though its a fair bit longer and I,d have to check if its small enough on the one end.The 250,s are tapered not sure about the 500,s.Like I said the rear springs are too soft.Gonna check on the shipping tomorrow but if it was me I,d go with a stiffer spring.
-
He's a hoarder. Hoarders don't sell or give the take and collect!! Lol. I called race tech that's where I get my rebuild kits and they don't know the lt250r specs. They also said their springs are typically eibach. And eibach Wont sell to the public apparently.
-
According to eibach's website a 500 spring will work. A stock 250 is 4.0kg and a 500 is 5.0kg.
If that is not enough then a banshee rear spring 97 and up is rated at 5.5 or 5.4 depending on years.
Older banshee springs will physically fit but the spring rate will be too high at 6.8 kg.
So john can sell you one of his 8 or 9 zilla springs he has hoarded.

Eibach, national, moog

I need a good rear spring from a 87-90 lt250r I just had my rear shock rebuilt on my wifes quad and when I sit on it it is bottomed out. So I assume its the spring.
