No leaks now
-
I'm so worried about taking my water pump off the clutch case cover because it wasn't leaking and I'm afraid after I remove it to polish it and the case cover I will have a leak problem.
-
The service manual says they add bars leak from the factory so put some in the radiator and it stopped leaking lol do say much for suzuki went through 3 that cycles and er torque to the head bolts and it pulls like a **** ape +k2 just need the breaks to work good lol
-
i have also had this problem, i stuck another washer in the stack of the impeller bolt. it put more pressure against the seal and stopped leaking.
-
drain fluid, take off reverse thread bolt that holds on impeller, check to make sure rubber coated washer is in good shape.
clean area and put some rtv on bolt and shaft where bolt goes in at. put back together and let dry up some then tighten.
laek should stop. but if shaft was not changed it might have a wear groove this may be problem if rtv does not stop leak.
-
You might try tightening the backwards thread impeller nut, I know it sounds like I'm nuts. But on dyno test day 2 Dales Zilla was leaking, but not after he tightened it! And the testing resumed!

Check the seals..easy to do. I believe if the weep hole is leaking it is the mech seal..other may know for sure.

Had the hole motor rebult in including the water pump the the motor was stored for a while I finally got time to start to work on it but it leaks cooling out the weep hole when I filled the radiator it was a pretty fast leak I re field it and it slowed down it just a little drip now <1>
