Title: Re: Looking for new Zilla tail Light options-- LED's???

Yes I have been looking at a few and I believe I saw someone on the site with a OEM TRX450 rear tail light that worked.  They are LED and have a nice shape and size that will replace the stock zilla tail light pretty nicely.

They are also a LED from what I believe and will being the Wattage draw down leaving more for the LED front headlights :)

Anti Bling had a nice LED setup on his:

2smoker had a nice setup for a 250 that used existing holes for the OEM light housing with rubber grommets to hold them in place:

Both of them are small and save a lot of space, extremely simple to install, brighter than OEM and as least as bright as the LTR (the LTR uses an array of 10 LED's).
Two additional benefits...
-They cost pennies compared to a new LTR tail light housing ($10 vs. $80 on ebay).
-If you get an OEM brake light housing (excluding the LTR) it's usually an array of incandescent bulbs which draw anywhere from 15-30W away from your lighting system compared to an LED array which will draw 5W of power with brake and running lights both going.
When you're dealing with 80W of total power, that means a 50W headlight is going to just about completely tax your lighting system, when you could run the LED tail light and a 70W headlight with 2W less draw from the lighting system.
Alternatively, run a 50W headlight with the LED's and it'll be a little brighter since the voltage from your lighting system won't drop from excessive drain.
That's two BIG pluses for using LED tail lights...

Optronics has a nice selection of small LED marker lights to choose from, and they'll all work on an LT:

Find them at a local O-Reilly's or order online...but that's just one brand out of several.
You can probably find them at a truck stop or any auto parts store, might not be exactly what you're looking for but you'll be able to find something that'll work.Universal LED tail light on ebay:

Noticed my Zilla tail light has a **** lense.  Have any of you found a better looking rear light (preferably LED) that will mount up easily?  I saw an LTR450 tail light that looked good--I dont know if it was stock or not.

What have you guys found?  Thanks---I lover this site!!
