around 1,300$ from lonestar but seen them on ebay for 900$ but another guy has a Leager swing arm for 575$ on ebay right now and he a great seller. 92LTDemon is his name on here.I bought stuff off him before and he a great seller.

I'll try that. It's either do it myself or pay a shop to break the bolt just getting it out. +k2
-
Spray that frozen bolt with pb blaster. Let it soak, hit it with a hammer. Let it sit.
I had to do that for six days, the seventh it finally slid out with little damage
-
That's what I'm thinking. Now if I could just get my swing arm bolt out. How much did it cost to switch over to the lone star?
-
If you get a lone star swingarm you will never break it and also it has a lifetime warranty. I run a lonstar swinger on my 91 lt250r. Best money i ever spent, i can tigthen my chain in less then a minute. Also can run a 11 tooth or a 12 tooth or a 13 tooth front sprocket on the same chain. You can't do that on a stock swingarm.
-
I probably can't even get my swinger welded and gussetted for 80, let me think about it. I don't have any money until the first again.
-
87-90 swingarm is bolt on for 85-86 you don't have to mod or change anything I have a 87 swingarm 80.00 shipped includes linkage no carrier
-
87' model had a little better suspension didn't they? I'd have to buy a longer shock. Mine is an 86' model, and I'm ultimately going to get a +4 lone star swingarm with +2 lone star axle. And then fix my factory equipment as a spare in case something breaks or if I want to switch out for different types of riding. I do have a set of nerd bars for a 91'&92' 250, I think I've seen them being sold for the quadzilla. Don't quote me but you can look at my project in the general discussion under my 86' LT250R rebuild

I can get you a pic of my 87 swingarm with the linakage and carrier.
-
Got pics of those 88' swingers
-
i got a nice 88 swingarm to put on it
-
I have a swinger with carrier from an 88 LT.
-
Very weak, I just over tightened one of those four bolts on my 86' and put a hairline crack on the side of it, nothing broke off but if you tighten the bolt now, you can see the crack widen just a hair. I'm going to try to have mine welded just to get by till I get an aftermarket one.
-
You'll need a pair of spacers at the Dogbone mount on the swinger also if you do 87-90.. Just changed mine out to an 87. The 85-86 are WEAK!
-
Anybody have one? I can use a 87-90 also but it will have to have the carrier also.
-
i need a 85/86 swing arm mine **** and cant be welded
